Abstract:
The issue of sticking is often manifested in production after a significant number of tablets is compacted. In this presentation we will first explored various techniques available in literature that claim to evaluate the propensity of formulations for sticking.  Emphasis will be given to the techniques that can be realized on the compaction simulator (not an actually production press).  Some new approaches to this problem will also be presented and evaluated.
