This presentation will detail how the characterisation of the mechanical deformation properties of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) can be used in combination with excipients to identify a robust product for commercialisation.  This case study in particular describes how the simulator can successfully predict the performance of a roller compacted product at commercial scale.
